The Busan Biennale 2008 unfolded at the Busan Museum of Art, Gwangalli Beach and APEC Naru park between Sep. 6th and Nov. 15th under the theme of 'Expenditure'. Culture and Art are more closely related to wasteful activities where products are released and consumed to go back to the beginning of the cycle, rather than activities fo production, construction, preservation and augmentation. In this regard, the theme of the Busan Biennale 2008 'Expenditure' is a positive expression that defines today's culture and art.
