Symposium
The symposium is a program through which the professionals from various arts and cultural fields present and discuss their research centering on the subject of Sea Art Festival 2017. By discussing the relevance of art and play centering on the contents of the speakers' presentations, the necessity of the exhibition is theoretically discussed, and the public interest is increased by inducing their reaction and participation.

Artists Talk
The visitors have the opportunity to meet the Korean and foreign artists of Sea Art Festival 2017 through the artists talk program. The artistic director gives a brief introduction to the reason for selecting the participating artists, a description of their artworks, and the relevance of their artwork to the exhibition theme, followed by the participating artists' talk about their artworks and their art world.

Matching Program
This mentoring-style workshops bring together a special team consisting of undergraduate and graduate students with professionals working in the various aspects of the art field, including theorists, critics, curators, researchers and independent curators. In each pair of the matching teams, the mentors advise on the artwork of the featured team and the future directivities for their artwork, through free discussion and Q&A. In addition, visitors from Hongti Art Center near Dadaepo, as well as local artists and students will also be invited to meet the various professionals in the field.

Open Seminar
The open seminar is an experimental seminar that emphasizes communication through SNS, in connection with the idea of the participatory exhibition as pursued by 'Ars Ludens', the theme of the Sea Art Festival 2017. Held online in conjunction with the fall semester classes in universities, students in the pre-selected classes listen to the seminar leaders' presentation and engage in Q&A style discussions in real time.
