Bae asks people to chew gum as they do as usual and display the reliclike chewed gums collected in Busan as an objet d’art with many different sounds. With the help of mixed media of films, sounds, and installations, he is searching Busan for significant images of the times and the place and makes critical comments on alienated classes, neglected popularity, and exaggerated hypocrisies.
