While Kim's work first appears to be a group of public sculptures in the shape of large scale and playful fiddler crabs it also serves to provide a public space for rest and socialization. The artist's introduction of natural forms into the human social space brings to the fore questions regarding our interaction with the natural world, issues of environmental conservation and to challenge traditional categories of nature and culture.
