A Thousand Lights, Thousands of water Droplets
¡®A Thousand Lights, Thousands of water Droplets¡¯ alludes to the moment when water and light become one and day and night coexist. Stepping into a tunnel, one comes across a space where a myriad of water droplets seem likely to pour down like the subtle light of the stars. This space is meant to represent the emotions I felt when I saw the lights of twinkling stars that seemed as if they would fall down before my eyes. This was during a trip to the White Desert in Egypt. While passing through the tunnel, one may experience multifarious wonders in the hypnotic space of water and light. This work is a prelude to the 2015 Sea Art Festival. 100 verbal type poetries representing poet Un KO¡¯s literary thoughts on the present age can be found in the water drop lighting.
