Bags Full of Warm Wishes

To me soil symbolizes the personal connection of oneself to the earth. it reminds me of how far we have journeyed away from the touch of home or nature. So the artwork will be a participatory piece wherein, the visitors have the choice to either just look at the work or he or she could physically be part of it by taking some soil their hands and relase it in the ocean with a wish in their mind. The installation of the work will be a very simple one. I will have a pile of soil bags (tptal 220 bags) with a long tail made out of about additional 20soil bags that run towards the ocean.
