Dimorphism of the Wave

This work is placed in two contrasting surroundings. On one side of the work, there is a space created by very softly processed woods which gives the feeling of softness, warmth and abundance. This side of the work faces the sea. But on the opposite side is another space where woods are roughly trimmed and burned, making the viewer anxious and uneasy. This side is facing the city. As such, the artist expresses two different worlds which encounter with each other on the beach, with the beach being a symbolic border between the two worlds. This work represents the contrast between the boundless sincerity of nature and the modern society which distorts and violates nature.
