Red Piano

The success of the 21st century industrial revolution has almost affected on every corner of the society. Even the most original African Tribes also didn’t survive. So no matter where you live, this is an age enclosed by industry. Music is the most sacred and the purest art given by human beings. It used local materials from the original nature to today’s metal instrument, Or in the near future, another new material will replace the metal. All this is no longer a simple material conversion but an index of the human evolution of the industrial era. The inspiration of the Red Piano was created from that.

The ‘Red Piano’ was not a simple copy of the instrument. It was made by metal radiators that everyone was familiar with. It used the unusual way that toughly jointing the material unrelated to music to the piano which had broken the common sense. But we cannot deny the sound of water running in the radiator was also the music of industrial era. This kind of unnatural sound that controlled by human beings was identical with this era. With such beautiful red rendering, the industrial radiators were perfectly exact in mechanical arrangement. And the human nature here was compressed to the minimums，the creation of human beings became the god that dominated the ideology. The music flowing from the metal instrument has become the real ‘Machine is created. So is music’.
