View&Time&Sight The Korean word ¡®Sigak¡¯ signifies a
certain point in time, an attitude of observing and interpreting matters, as
well as a sensation received through the eyes. The tidal range off the coast of
Dadaepo is very severe compared to the mildness of the beach. Sea water filling
up or spilling out from the cups with the tide coming in and out in this work
seems to draw an analogy to filling up or spilling out the beautiful ocean with
a single cup. As if to signify the
changing of color from orange to deep red in sunset, the different in color
attempts to visually express the flow of time, and bring out the various visual
effects.
