The Column
Adrian Paci shows the complex levels of works on the consciousness of environment dealing with personal identity, society, culture and politics through various mediums such as photography, sculpture, video and installation works. His submitted work in the Busan Biennale, “The Column” (2013), decontextualizes the symbol of Western architecture history from its common ground. During the long voyage by sea, transportation of physical body and post-colonial hybridity of history and the present are construct by the Chinese sculptors. As an immigrant from Albania, Paci depicts in his works his trans-cultural experiences.
