Anish Kapoor started his career in the late 1970s with temporary installation pieces that consisted of arrangements on top of simple geometric shaped bases: red pigment, squares and rectangles with blue and black integrated lights through the point of exit. Through overwhelming stairway experience that surpasses the spatial sense of the audience, Kapoor made interactive and non-object sculptural works that caused illusion in volume. It is a reminder of the suprematism  of 20th century visual art, an attempt to constantly re-attempt on a regular basis the ambition to visualize the world on the other side, or beyond.
